Officers Installed at Masonic Lodge in Mukwonago
Laflin St. James Lodge #247, Free & Accepted Masons, installed officers for 2008 on Thursday,
December 27, the Festival of St. John the Evangelist. Craig S. Campbell, Senior Grand Warden, performed as Installing
Master. The event, held at the Masonic Center in Mukwonago, was open to the public. Many friends and family members
of Masons participated.
Owen W. Williams was installed as Worshipful Master, Patrick G. Richards as Senior Warden, and Richard
J. Scanlan as Junior Warden. Secretary-Treasurer, Deacons, Stewards and other officers were also installed in an impressive
ceremony. A time of fellowship and a hearty dinner were enjoyed by all before the installation.
Masons from East Troy and Mukwonago attend Laflin St. James Lodge. They meet at 7:30 p.m.
on the second and fourth Monday of every month except July and August.
Two organizations affiliated with Freemasonry, Labelle chapter #40, Order of the Eastern Star, and
Bethel #63, Job's Daughters, share the facilities at the Mukwonago Masonic Center.
